Both the Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton and Ellerslie Gift and Garden are celebrating their 21st anniversaries this year. In honour of the occasion, Ellerslie Gift and Garden is hosting its 21st Annual Autumn Tea Party with proceeds from a wildlife enhancement raffle going to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton.
Visit on your own or relax with friends & family, during this free, friendly and informal, rain or shine celebration. Sample complimentary tea, scones, coffee and squares while enjoying the superb bluegrass music of Cabin Fever. Explore displays created by many local plant societies as well as other nature loving organizations in our region. Other Autumn Tea Party weekend highlights will include some impressive anniversary specials in both the yard and the gift shop. Join us for a great event at Ellerslie Gift & Garden, which is situated at the corner of Ellerslie Road & Calgary Trail.
Saturday, October 23rd 2010 - 11th Annual Run/Walk Wild for Wildlife
The 11th annual Run/Walk Wild for Wildlife is WRS' biggest fundraiser. In 2009, $27,000 was raised to support the society and in 2010 we hope to raise even more for Edmonton's only wildlife shelter. To register for this great event please go to our page on the Running Room website here.
