Directions

Please call our hotline at 780-914-4118 before dropping off wildlife so we know to expect you.

We accept patients at our shelter from 9am till 4pm, if you need to drop off an animal after hours please take it to the 24 hour Capital City Animal Hospital which is located at 11104 102 Ave NW, Edmonton.

Please either read through the directions below or view this .pdf file for a map and directions to our wildlife shelter.

Route A:

  • Take HWY 16 going west towards Jasper.
  • Take the exit for HWY 44.
  • Take your first left onto Township Road (Twp) 532A.
  • Take your second right onto Range Road (RR) 271.
  • Keep going north on RR 271. Once you have crossed the small bridge with wetlands on either side of the road, the wildlife shelter will be the next property on the right. The shelter is at the corner of RR 271 and Twp 534.
  • The trailers are the wildlife hospital and the house is for administrative offices.

Route B – this route is currently closed:

  • Take HWY 16 going west towards Jasper.
  • Turn right at Range Road (RR) 271, also called Pioneer Road.
  • Keep going north on RR 271. Once you have crossed the small bridge with wetlands on either side of the road, the wildlife shelter will be the next property on the right. The shelter is at the corner of RR 271 and Twp 534.
  • The trailers are the wildlife hospital and the house is for administrative offices.

Route C:

  • Take HWY 16 going west towards Jasper.
  • Take the exit for Century Road.
  • Take first right onto Township Road (Twp) 532A.
  • Take first left onto Range Road (RR) 271.
  • Keep going north on RR 271. Once you have crossed the small bridge with wetlands on either side of the road, the wildlife shelter will be the next property on the right. The shelter is at the corner of RR 271 and Twp 534.
  • The trailers are the wildlife hospital and the house is for administrative offices.
